Central Florida motorist Steve Saunders said he purchased gas costing nearly $4 a gallon at the North Dean station.
Saunders said his vehicle needed to be towed after he filled up and drove a short distance. He also said he had to pay a $2,000 repair bill to clean out the car's gas tank and fix the problems.
"Is there any question it was the gas from this place that caused your problem?" Local 6's Erik von Ancken asked.
"No," Saunders said.
Local 6 spoke with a district manager of the gas station who said he would fix the problem.
"If there's something wrong on our part, we'll take care of it," the manager said.
"Even a $2,000 repair bill?" von Ancken asked.
"(It) doesn't matter," the manager said.
